The Romanian Peasant Museum is organizing the Saint Mary’s Day Fair this weekend, between August 9 and August 11, with the occasion of the Saint Mary’s orthodox celebration. The fair will take place in the court of Romanian Peasant Museum and the visitors will be able to find traditional gifts and crafts, as well as a lot of Romanian traditional dishes.
The artisans will exhibit their handmade crafts, such as wood creation, traditional fabrics and clothes, painted icons, photos from the XIX century, old furniture, antiques and paintings.
On Saturday and Sunday, children can attend at the workshops organized specially for them, in order for them to learn all the crafting techniques.
The fair will be open from Friday to Sunday between 10:00 and 18:00. Entrance is free.
